the giver

The best gift that I could ever give you is the gift to know the One who made you.

take a sit and put up your feet

eat this bread then rest your head

come inside, it’s warm and dry

new threads and a kiss on your forehead

whatever you need I want to pleases

if you’re sick, I’m your antibiotic

every story I will read

every meal I will feed

if you find that you’re wary

I’ll be here to carry

the day that you’re too tired

I’ll be here to inspire

has the dust been to much?

do not wince, away it’s rinsed

take my hands when you can

i will walk for you if you want me too

hold you tight throughout the night

you need my eyes to see?

then take them if you need

most of all you have to know

take this love and hold it so

love is all I have left to give

I hope it’s enough to help you live

the giver I have been to you

is nothing compared to what God can do

when you’ve failed,

see Grace unveiled

are you lost and have paid an Earthly cost?

have faith and know He loves you so

the ultimate Giver walks at your side

to create other givers now qualified

    1. Thank you ☺️ I had a little motivation… so thank you for that. I joined two Bible studies on the Bible app after our message back and forth… it helped… it’s helping ❤️❤️🙏🏼

        I’m trying something myself. Im attempting to get up early and have an hour to spend reading and studying and praying before I start my day. I’m not a morning person at all. But it’s worth it!

      2. I wish so desperately that I could NOT be a morning person and just sleep. I’m pretty sure Im a insomniac because I rarely sleep at all but I’m tired all the time. It’s awful.
        However I do go to bed early 7:45 or 8 because my brain can’t take anymore and just gives out but I’m up around midnight… sometimes I get lucky and will sleep until 1am or 2am but then I’m up for the rest of the day and it sucks!
        I ended up wandering the house, which is super creepy… now I think about it.
        I’ll clean something or make the kids lunches. Then I usually will write. Seems like my mind has some good ideas at that time of the night… morning… Then I’ll do my bible study and start getting ready for work.
        By then I had 99 cups of coffee and it’s time to gets the kids and that’s when my house starts getting crazy. I go to work and then do it all again the next day, night, morning… 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤓

      3. I’m incredibly not a morning person… but I don’t sleep well either.. so I load up on coffee every day. And I stay tired.

        7:45-8 is awesome!!! Normally I’m tired all day but I catch my second wind and don’t go to sleep until 11-12…

        I missed my morning wake up this morning…. I woke up and it was 6. The next thing I know I looked at the clock again and it was 6:30….. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️😕

      4. The other night I asleep at 7:40ish and woke up at 11pm and was just up all night and morning… never went back to sleep… I felt drunk 🥴 by 7:30 pm the next night but that pesky adulting was in the way… ☺️
